Hi, My name is Blessy.
A beloved daughter of our Heavenly Father, a wife, a mother, a friend, and a fighter.
Above all, my identity is rooted in being a daughter of God. His love sustains me, His grace carries me, and His plan-though sometimes difficult to understand-is where I place my trust.
I am also a wife to my incredible husband, George, and a mother to our three beautiful daughters, Emily, Hannah, and Lucia. They are my greatest joy, my deepest love, and the reason I fight every single day. Everything I do is for them—to show them strength, to pour out love, and to leave them with a legacy of faith, no matter what lies ahead.
I was first diagnosed with Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma (DLBCL) in October of 2023, then found out two days later about my pregnancy, faced it head-on, finished treatment in April, gave birth to my baby girl in June, and was declared to be in remission in September of 2024. In mid February 2025, I found out that the cancer has returned, and I am stepping into a new fight—one filled with uncertainty, but also with unshakable hope.
Strength and Blessings is my space to share this journey—honestly and openly. I write to keep my loved ones updated, to process this battle in words, and to leave something behind for my daughters, should they ever need to hear my voice if I’m not here. My hope is that through my story, others may find encouragement, perspective, and maybe even a little bit of strength for their own battles.
Through it all, I am endlessly grateful for my husband, who has been my rock, my greatest support, and the one who walks beside me every step of the way. He carries so much of this weight with me, and I couldn’t do this without him. He, along with our girls, is my heart, my home, and my greatest blessing.
Thank you for being here and walking this journey with me.
